Updates to the 2023 Nissan LEAF
By simplifying the lineup, slashing the price, boosting range, and revamping the design, this Nissan EV is better than ever before. The new Nissan LEAF is the most affordable EV on the market, now offering a pair of models with the S and SV Plus. The 2023 Nissan LEAF offers new five-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels while sporting a new grille and bumper. The illuminated Nissan badge is also new, along with a fresh steering wheel badge. By modifying the tire deflectors, rear spoiler, and rear diffuser, the Nissan LEAF has improved aerodynamics.

Nissan LEAF Performance
With the SV Plus using the larger 60-kWh battery pack, the Nissan LEAF maximizes its range to 212 miles. The base S model lasts 149 miles on a single charge with a 40-kWh battery pack. The Nissan LEAF EV has a 123 MPGe city rating riding around State College. Horsepower outputs range from 147 to 214 ponies. Torque values jump from 236 to 250 pound-feet in this Nissan EV powered by an electric motor.
The Nissan LEAF EV produces zero tailpipe emissions and has no engine noise. This all-electric car is compatible charging with a 120-volt standard outlet, along with a 240-volt Level 2 charger at home or around State College. You can even plug in at a 480-volt public DC quick charging station. This is the fastest charging option, taking between 40 and 60 minutes to reach an 80% charge.
Nissan LEAF Interior Design
Bring larger items along with fold-down rear seats that provide 30 cubic feet of cargo space. The Nissan LEAF has room for five passengers. Thanks to no internal combustion engine, this is one quiet cabin. There's one pedal and lots of fun with the LEAF's e-Pedal. You can still brake on demand, but the e-Pedal allows you to feel the instant rush before easing off to slow down and utilize regenerative braking. A heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats come with the SV Plus.

Nissan LEAF Exterior Design
The Nissan LEAF EV rides on standard 16-inch steel wheels, but optional 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels come with a machined finish. Halogen headlights are standard, while LED headlights are paired with LED signature Daytime Running Lights on the SV Plus, which also flashes fog lights. The Nissan LEAF EV is designed with a floor-mounted battery pack to create a lower center of gravity, resulting in smooth handling and reduced body roll as State College drivers power through Pennsylvania corners. EV shoppers from State College can select one of the following eight Nissan LEAF paint colors:
